Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Leisure Day Before the Nile Cruise
A full day at your own pace before the Nile cruise starts. You might hang around the hotel, take it easy, or walk around nearby to get your bearings before heading upriver.
Day 2: Luxor East Bank & Nile Cruise Embarkation
After breakfast, you'll transfer to Luxor and board the Nile cruise. The afternoon focuses on the East Bank, beginning with the Karnak Temple complex, which dates back over 3,500 years and was constructed for the worship of Amun. Then you'll check out the Luxor temple, dedicated to Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khons.
Day 3: Luxor West Bank & Nile Sailing
Breakfast comes first, then you're heading to the West Bank to see the Valley of the Kings, where you can actually enter the tombs of New Kingdom Pharaohs, such as King Tutankhamen. After that, you'll visit the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri and finish with the Colossi of Memnon, which are all that remain of Amenophis III's temple. Later in the day, you'll sail toward Edfu and Kom Ombo.
Day 4: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
Traveling up the Nile, you'll see the Temple of Horus in Edfu and the dual temple at Kom Ombo, which was built for the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. The temple once housed a sacred crocodile. By evening, there's a Galabbiya and oriental dance party on the ship, and then you'll sail on toward Aswan.
Day 5: Aswan Highlights - High Dam & Philae Temple
You'll reach Aswan in the morning for a tour of the High Dam of Aswan. Following this, a visit to the Temple of Philae, a Greco-Roman Egyptian temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, awaits. It's a beautiful spot and worth taking the time to explore.
Day 6: Transfer from Aswan to Hurghada
Following breakfast, you'll take a private air-conditioned minivan from Aswan back to Hurghada. It's a long drive, but it provides you with time to relax and reflect on everything you've seen during the cruise.
Day 7: Hurghada – Red Sea Leisure Day
You have the entire day free to do as you please in Hurghada. Most people spend their time by the sea, swimming, or simply relaxing on the beach with the Red Sea right there.
Day 8: Departure from Hurghada
After breakfast, you'll head to Hurghada Airport for your flight home. Then, you will leave with all your experiences and photos from the Nile cruise and time in Egypt.
